With the spirit of Ramadhan some muslimah were gathered in Depok last Sunday, October 8 2006 (15 Ramadhan 1427H), for joining an event called Haflah Muslimah. As you see from the name, Haflah Muslimah, the event were especially held for muslimah. So all woman whose believe in Islam were welcome to the event. Haflah Muslimah is actually an event where muslimah can express their talent in a way that is allowed by Islam.
There were several competition which were held, such as MHQ, hadeeth (with translation) recitation, Qur'an translation poetical reading, Islamic quiz for group, Islamic card creation, and nasheed. MHQ is short for Musabaqoh Hafiz Qur'an where the contestant were asked to recite some surah taken from the last chapter (chapter 30) of the holy Qur'an. In hadith recitation competition, the contestant were asked to recire a hadith which was taken from hadith Nabawi book, both the arabic and the translation. The contestant who join Qur'an translation poetical reading were asked to read the translation of Qur'an in a way which can express the meaning of the ayat in the Qur'an. Islamic quiz game can be joined by a group of contestant which then have to answer several questions asked by the jury woman. Or if you were creative enough in transposing used things into an attractive card then you can join Islamic card creation. And last but not least, if you have a group of people who have talent in composing a nasheed and singing it then the nasheed competition is definitely the right one for you.
My Islamic study group and i were joining several competition. My sister whose name is Ratih were joined MHQ. She is hafiz from surah An-Naba to surah Al-Buruj. But unfortunately she didn't win. My two friend from our group whose name is Ayu and Pris Elmiasih joined Qur'an translation poetical reading competition. Pris loose but Ayu won the third place in that competition. My other friends whose name is Siti Maharani joined hadith recitation competition but did not win. And last but not least, my group of 5 people (including me ya) were joined a nasheed competition. Alhamdulillah we got the first place... yes... we won the nasheed competition. :-)
Please read my next post (inshALLAH) for the detail of my group journey in joining the nasheed competition. So stay tuned here!
Some relatives from my mother family (uncles, cousins, niece, and nephew) who came to my parents' house for ifthor last Sunday (Sep, 3rd 2006). There was also a young ustaz who present the tausiah before ifthor.
After tausiah has finished then we waiting for azan maghrib by du'a. When azan come, we start ifthor jama'i with another du'a for ifthor and then drink tea and eat traditional meals like those you see in the picture within this post.
The next thing we do is sholatil maghrib (jama'ah) and du'a. Some of us even take sholat sunnah. After finished sholat maghrib then we continue to eat the main entree, which is soto. We close eating with fruit.
We close this occasion with sholatil isya and tarawih (jama'ah). The İmam for sholat isya and tarawih is one of my cousin whose name is Ahmad. Some of my relatives has already leave the house before sholat isya but so much others who stayed and do sholatil isya and tarawih together.
Alhamdulillah all went well.

Lyrics:
Semesta bertasbih pada-Mu
Sucikan dirimu lafazkan asma-Mu
Gunung-Gunung bintang makhluk-Mu
Mentari Rembulan tunduk taat pada-Mu
Alam raya di dalam nafas-Nya
Berfikir aku kan kutak pernah terhenti
Burung-burung terbang di angkasa
Di laut semua mensucikan asma-Mu
Tiada satupun pengingkaran alam pada-Mu
Tiada satupun pengingkaran hati setiap makhluk-Mu
*) Yaa Khobir Yaa Khobir ALLAH ALLAH (4x)
Subhanallah Subhanallah...
Tiada satupun pengingkaran alam pada-Mu
Tiada satupun pengingkaran hati setiap makhluk-Mu

After being left too long, i have found my self very much dig in ways to modificate my personal blog. What do you know... this is actually so much fun to do. I found some interesting free blog templates in internet - thanks to isnaini dot com and free blogger templates - which then i modificate into my own taste of blog template. As i learn to modificate i found some interesting chart of colors which can be use as a hint to change the colors of your blog (text, background, etc). You can check it out in HTML Colors Code or you can just simply look all things out through my favorite search engine "GOOGLE". Have a nice try guys. :-)
Now i am working on my other blogs to be linked to this main blog of mine. Hopefully, i can maintain all continously. Hhmmm.... inshALLAH yaaaaaaaa...
Have you ever think that everything that happen to us is not a coincidence? It really is not a coincidence. Nothing in this world is happening because of coincidence. Because there is ALLAH (God) Who rules all things and put all things together to even a small pieces which sometimes we human felt it like useless things.
I am saying you this because i have proven it myself. ALLAH really help me in getting things and event in my life the best way according to Him and suits me well. For example, i had an idea to register and install an ADSL connection in my home because i was used to have a dial-up connection at my home and it was so annoying. Firstly, i thought it would be difficult to install ADSL not to mention it would cost more money in the first installment. But somehow i manage myself to register online to one of ADSL provider via their website. After that, the next few days i have a second thought of canceling my registration to that provider because when i gathered information from web about that provider, i read many complain and disadvantage which then makes me think of changing to other provider. What happen next is i got a call from that provider's marketing who offer me to take care of registration include with the hardware supply and instalation without me have to bother going to their place. So, i said ok because at that time i don't have enough opportunity to go elsewhere at working time (it's not easy to get permission to leave from office in working hour).
Then they came to my house when it was holiday because it was on independence day. They had me to sign few paper and hand me the modem right after i hand them offer the installment fee. Btw, the modem is included in the installment cost and still it is cheaper than the price of a single modem if i bought it separately. The next 2 days, there are few people come to my house to install the modem and the connection and then i can start to use the internet using ADSL connection. And Subhanallah it is realy faster than when i used dial-up connection.
And the more advantage is yet to come when the next morning i got a phone call from the marketing that i got a discount for the registration fee which i have already pay. Guess what... it was supposed to be free of charge since i was regitered at the same day as our country's independece day. So, i can get my registration money back and only pay for the modem price which still a lot cheaper than if i bought it separately at the first place anyway.
What a coincidence you say? .... No way guys!!! Because i trully believe that everything that happen to us is well-planned by ALLAH and it will bring best things to us.
